RE-OPENING OF SELWYN SAMUEL INDOOR BOWLS CENTRE - 12TH SEPTEMBER 2022

The Llanelli Indoor Bowls Club and Llanelli Town Council are re-opening the Bowls Club at the Selwyn Samuel Centre from the 12^th September 2022. The centre was closed during the COVID19 pandemic and used by the Hywel Dda University Health Board as a Field Hospital.

Prior to the reopening for the 2022-23 Season, the bowling carpet will also be renewed.

The Llanelli Indoor Bowls Club AGM will be held at the Selwyn Samuel Centre on the 10^th August at 7pm, with all members asked to make every effort to attend.  Members and those interested in joining the Club should contact the Club Secretary Tony Rees.

Llanelli Town Council Leader, Cllr David Darkin said ‘ Llanelli Town Council is very proud of the fact that we were able to support the Hywel Dda University Health Board in their fight against the pandemic through the provision of the Centre as the Ysbyty Enfys Selwyn Samuel. We now look forward greatly to welcoming back our friends from the Llanelli Indoor Bowls Club and to seeing a successful re-opening of the Club for the 2022-23 Season’.
