Parks and Playing Fields
The Town Council has responsibility for the playing fields and parks at Clos yr Ysgol Park, Crown Park, Havelock Park, Morfa Park, Nightingdale Court Park, Penyfan Park and Peoples' Park.
The Town Council maintains the Penygaer Playing Fields through an agreement with Carmarthenshire County Council.
The Town Council employs a dedicated Park Keeping Service. The Town Council Park Keepers, Gerwyn Jones and Jack Lynch can be contacted by emailing enquiries@llanellitowncouncil.gov.uk or 01554779999. The Park Keeping service will be opening and closing each Llanelli Town Council play area every morning and evening and will provide a visible presence with their Grounds Assistant colleagues across each Llanelli Town Council play area and green space.
