Llanelli Town Council is delighted to confirm that the Town Council’s joint bid with Carmarthenshire County Council and Llanelli Rural Council has been successful, securing over £400k for the 2018/19 financial year from the Welsh Government for road safety improvements in Llanelli West via the Safe Routes in Communities Grant Scheme. Llanelli Town Council will also match fund the project with £5,000 and Carmarthenshire County Council with £10,000, which will enable safer routes improvements covering the areas of Pentip School, Old Road School, Furnace School, Pwll School, Ysgol Y Strade and Côleg Sir Gar Campus...........
